I was heating up breastmilk by sitting the bottle in warm water but then the bottle got too hot to hold. Seems like a good idea but they are too hot to hold and then cool down very quickly.

Love the bottles, only downside is not having a measuring window. Means I need to measure water into each bottle before we go out and cannot use a baby water thermos to fill as we go.

The second my son started on bottles he committed to lion and lady after our first trial bottle. The teats on these are an amazing shape and he felt comfortable with them straight away. The quality of the stainless steel and teats/conversions are better than anything I’ve seen. Even though these bottles did get a little small as my son started drinking more I would still start with the smaller size first, it was easy for him to learn to hold, a perfect size to slip into pockets, and now that he’s using the larger bottle his originals are terrific snack canisters! So no waste!
